Elizabeth Heller is an award-winning illustrator, author and educator from New England.

She is also a chronic question box, cartoon enthusiast, trombone player, animal lover, occasional space cadet, vegan, “good” dancer, reckless optimist, problem solver, an easy cry at the movies (Kung Fu Panda included), innovative thinker, kid in a grown-up body, absolute clutz, and an overall silly and curious human.

When she’s not working, she’s spending time with her dog, Enzo, playing Mario Kart with her girlfriend, or visiting local cafés with a sketchbook. Some unrelated favorites: Avatar the Last Airbender, spotting critters on the Ring camera, a well organized bag, the soundtrack from Shrek 2, and big bowls of cereal after 8pm.

She will almost definitely ask you what your favorite type of apple is.
